The beauty of Ladakh surpasses the beauty of any other hilly place. Its rendezvous. Its all about tankaras, Crowns, Jewels and Royal dresses. Its just like the royal palaces we have read and herad about in fairy tales. Just step into it and you will find all those lovely characters coming out of it.  The Royal Crown has been place here for the people to see. After the King passed away, since then it has been kept here. The widow of the King still resides in the Palace along with her sons.

The only Lake Palace of Eastern India, its the most sought after tourist place. Today its one of the famous summer resorts spreading in an area of 5.35 kms.Its a hilly area and can have very lowtemperatures below 0 Deg C. People who are winter sensitive and kids should avoid this place in the months of December to January.
These are the HIGHEST MOTORABLE ROADS IN THE WORLD. A drive through these is a must watching the beautiful mountains on side and the natural beauty on the other side.
